In honor of that anniversary, the Mint maintains its traditional 22-karat gold format and the iconic designs that have made the Gold Eagle one of the most recognized bullion coins in the world. Currently, 2026 1/4 oz American Gold Eagle Coins in certified condition are available from BGASC.
Highlights:
All available coins arrive in secure plastic slabs with an MS70 certification. A grade of Mint State 70 confirms a perfect surface and full mint sheen. The Early Release designation reflects that these specific coins were submitted to NGC within 30 days of the mints release.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2026 American Gold Eagle, Lady Liberty appears in Augustus Saint-Gaudens famous 1907 creation. She moves forward with purpose, torch in her right hand and olive branch in her left, a design first seen on Americas historic $20 Double Eagle coin.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2026 1/4 oz Gold Eagle features the bald eagle design by Jennie Norris. Introduced to the series in 2021, the design focuses on a left-facing eagle head in high relief, emphasizing lifelike feather texture and a steady, commanding stare.
History
The 2026 1/4 oz Gold Eagle is 22mm in diameter and shares the same overall look as the rest of the series. Saint-Gaudens Liberty design anchors the obverse, while the reverse uses Jennie Norris modern bald eagle portrait that has defined the coin since 2021. The smaller fractional weight makes this issue a comfortable entry point for buyers who want official US gold without the cost of a larger coin.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
BGASC is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
