These 2026 1/4 oz American Gold Eagle Coins carry an MS 70 grade and are sealed in durable slabs for added safety. MS 70 coins are viewed as perfect, showing full mint brilliance with no visible flaws. First Day of Issue coins are those received by NGC for grading within 24 hours of the official Mint release.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 1/4 oz Gold Eagle Coin features the timeless Lady Liberty design crafted by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Debuting on the $20 Double Eagle in 1907, this scene shows Liberty striding forward, torch in her right hand and olive branch in her left, framed by a rising sun.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2026 American Gold Eagle is the striking bald eagle portrait by Jennie Norris. Adopted for the series starting in 2021, the design captures the eagles head in left profile with crisp texturing that brings out the depth of the relief.
History
Fractional Gold Eagles, such as the 1/4 oz optio,n have long appealed to buyers who want recognizable US gold in a smaller size. Since 2021, this denomination has carried the Norris eagle on the reverse, pairing modern detail with the traditional Saint-Gaudens Liberty that stays at the heart of the series.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
