Since its debut in 1986, the American Gold Eagle has served as the primary gold bullion coin of the United States. It is struck in a 91.67% gold alloy that includes copper and silver to improve strength and durability. Available in several denominations, the coin appeals to a wide range of investors. Its gold content and weight are supported by the U.S. government, making it a reliable choice for those building long-term holdings. The Gold Eagles consistent design and strong reputation have helped it remain a staple in the precious metals market. When paired with MintID packaging, it also offers a convenient way to verify authenticity. Right now, 2026 1 oz American Gold Eagle Coins in MintID cards are available from BGASC.
