Each 2026 1 oz Colorized American Independence Edition Silver Eagle Coin comes secured in a Quadrum capsule with a themed outer sleeve. The obverse includes colorized artwork depicting delegates signing the Declaration of Independence. An antique finish has been applied to the coin, giving it a softer, aged appearance.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 Colorized American Independence Edition Silver Eagle features a colorized scene of delegates gathered together as they sign the Declaration of Independence. On August 2, 1776, many members of Congress signed the document at Pennsylvania State House, now known as Independence Hall. While independence had already been declared on July 4, the signing was an important moment in confirming that decision. Thomas Jefferson played a leading role in writing the document, focusing on the principles of liberty and equality.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2026 1 oz Colorized American Independence Edition Silver Eagle, the American bald eagle is depicted. This design was created by Emily Damstra and introduced in 2021 as part of the American Eagle Series update.
History
During the American Revolution, Philadelphia became a key location for political thought and decision-making. As one of the largest cities in the colonies, it brought together influential leaders. The First and Second Continental Congresses met there, providing a place where representatives discussed and agreed upon the steps toward independence.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
