Obverse
On the obverse of the 2026 Proof Australian Silver Lunar Horse, there is a portrait of King Charles III. This is the first official effigy of His Majesty to appear on Australian coins, and it also appears on coins from several Commonwealth nations in the Pacific region. The design is by Dan Thorne and shows King Charles III in a left-facing profile without a crown.
Reverse
The reverse design of the 2026 1 oz Proof Silver Lunar Horse Coin shows two horses running along a riverbank.
