For many collectors, the fun comes not only from the coin itself but also from the anticipation and discovery involved in opening the box. Today, 2026 1 oz Reverse Proof Solomon Islands Silver Mystery Fender Guitar Shaped Coins are available from BGASC.
Highlights:
All 2026 1 oz Reverse Proof Solomon Islands Silver Mystery Fender Guitar Shaped Coins are housed in plastic capsules and placed inside specially designed blind boxes that include a Certificate of Authenticity. Each box contains one of seven Telecaster-themed designs with colorized reverse elements. Because these coins are packaged as mystery items, the exact design you receive will remain unknown until the box is opened.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2026 Reverse Proof Solomon Islands Silver Mystery Fender Guitar Shaped Coin is an image of King Charles III. The portrait shows the monarch in left-profile relief without a crown. This side of the coin also features the issuing nation, denomination, and other identifying marks, along with a unique serial number for each individual coin.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2026 1 oz Reverse Proof Silver Mystery Fender Guitar Shaped Coin displays one of seven designs modeled after Fender Telecaster guitars. Among Fenders many electric guitar models, the Telecaster and Stratocaster stand out as two of the most well-known. The Telecasters straightforward design and bright sound have made it a favorite among players in country, rock, and blues music for decades.
History
Fender Musical Instruments Corporation began operations in 1946 when Leo Fender opened his company in Fullerton, California. Over the years, Fender introduced several groundbreaking electric guitars that helped define modern music. One of the most important was the Broadcaster, released in 1950 and later renamed the Telecaster. This instrument became the first widely successful solid-body electric guitar and continues to influence musicians today.
