Each 2026 15 Gram Chinese Gold Panda Coin comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and is sealed in a protective pouch. Before 2016, this weight was produced as the 1/2 oz Gold Panda, which the 15 gram version now replaces.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 Chinese Gold Panda Coin shows the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, located within Beijings Temple of Heaven complex. Built during the Ming Dynasty in 1420, the buildings triple-tiered blue roof and wooden framework, made without nails, remain a symbol of Chinas rich architectural history.
Reverse
The reverse highlights two Giant Pandas relaxing beside a small pond. One panda lowers its head toward the other, creating a tender, natural moment. The background includes details like bamboo and stones, capturing the beauty of their mountain habitat.
History
Male and female giant pandas spend very little time together. Their pair bonds are short, often lasting only during mating season. Afterward, they return to their independent lifestyles, a trait that sets them apart from many other bear species that show longer interactions.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
