Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 Silver Panda presents a calm scene with two Giant Pandas sitting beside one another by a small pond. One panda lowers its head near the other as if sharing a quiet exchange. Bamboo, rocks, and water elements fill the background to bring depth to the design.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2026 30 Gram Silver Panda Coin, youll see the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, part of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. This centuries-old site once hosted ceremonies by emperors seeking good harvests and is still one of the citys most visited landmarks.
History
In the wild, Giant Pandas are mostly solitary. Adults live alone, coming together only for a short time during the breeding season. Their bamboo diet is low in nutrients, meaning they spend much of the day eating to get enough energy. This leaves little room for social contact outside of reproduction, a lifestyle suited to their environment.
