Obverse
The obverse of the 2026-P Reverse Proof Peace Dollar presents Anthony de Francisci’s classic left-facing Liberty portrait. Her calm expression and detailed features are framed by a crown of radiant light, creating a design that reflects the optimism and peaceful ideals that inspired the original Peace Dollar series after World War I.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2026-P Reverse Proof Peace Silver Dollar features an American bald eagle standing on a mountain peak. Behind the eagle, the rising sun spreads its rays across the background, while an olive branch and the inscription PEACE below the bird emphasize the design’s enduring themes of peace and national renewal.
History
Production of the Peace Dollar resumed in 1934 and 1935 after the Silver Purchase Act increased demand for silver held by the Treasury. Those requirements led the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints to strike the Peace Dollar once again, adding the final two years to the original series. These issues include slight design updates and remain closely tied to the history of the Great Depression.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
