Each 2026 US Mint Uncirculated Coin Set comes with two official US Mint presentation cards and a Certificate of Authenticity. One presentation card contains all Philadelphia Mint coins, while the second holds the Denver Mint issues. Every card includes five Semiquincentennial Quarters, one Sacagawea Dollar, one Enduring Liberty Half Dollar, one Emerging Liberty Dime, one Jefferson Nickel, and one Lincoln Penny.
Designs
To celebrate Americas Semiquincentennial, the United States Mint introduced several temporary design changes for 2026. Along with five new quarter obverse designs, the US Half Dollar and US Dime feature Liberty-themed obverse artwork available only this year. Enduring Liberty replaces John F. Kennedy on the half dollar, while Emerging Liberty takes the place of Franklin D. Roosevelt on the dime. The 2026 issue is also the first US Dime to feature Liberty since 1945.
The 2026 US Mint Uncirculated Set offers collectors a combination of familiar circulating designs and special anniversary artwork. The Lincoln Penny, Jefferson Nickel, and Sacagawea Dollar retain their well-known designs, while the Emerging Liberty Dime and Enduring Liberty Half Dollar honor the nation’s 250th anniversary. Completing the set are five Semiquincentennial Quarters celebrating the Mayflower Compact, the Revolutionary War, the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution, and the Gettysburg Address.
History
Collectors will notice that the 2026 US Mint Uncirculated Coin Set still includes the Lincoln Penny. Even though the United States Mint ended production of pennies for circulation in 2025 after more than two centuries of use, the coin continues to be struck for annual collector releases, including the Proof Set, Silver Proof Set, and Uncirculated Set.
