The first issue in the series is called Charters of Freedom and highlights the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This historic event laid the groundwork for the nations founding principles. Today, 2026-W 1 oz Proof American Platinum Eagle Coins are available from BGASC.

Each 2026-W 1 oz Proof American Platinum Eagle coin arrives in official packaging from the United States Mint. The coin is enclosed in a protective plastic capsule and housed in a presentation box. A themed outer shipper surrounds the box, and a Certificate of Authenticity from the mint is included with every coin. This release introduces collectors to the Charters of Freedom mini-series.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026-W Proof American Platinum Eagle features imagery tied directly to the founding moment. Sunlight breaks through the clouds to represent hope and change, while a feather quill in the foreground reflects the power of the written word. Fifty-six delegates signed the Declaration, fully aware of the serious consequences they could face.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2026-W 1 oz Proof Platinum Eagle Coin is the American bald eagle design that has been used since 2018. The eagle is shown descending in flight while clutching an olive branch in its talons. The design highlights both national strength and a desire for peace.
History
The Declaration of Independence, approved on July 4, 1776, formally declared that the American colonies would no longer remain under British control. It also presented ideas about individual rights and representative government that continue to define the nation. Over time, the document has become a lasting symbol of freedom and independence.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
BGASC is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
