UCAM stands for ultra-cameo proof and refers to the clear contrast between frosted devices and mirrored background fields. First Day of Issue coins are those received by NGC within 24 hours of the mints official release.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026-W Proof American Silver Eagle displays Adolph A. Weinmans timeless Walking Liberty design. Liberty is shown in left-profile relief, walking toward the sun on the horizon. She wears the American flag and carries oak and laurel branches in her left arm while reaching forward with her right hand.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2026-W 1 oz Proof Silver Eagle Coins features Emily Damstras American bald eagle artwork. Introduced in 2021, the design shows the eagle in flight as it descends with wings raised. The eagle holds an oak branch in its talons, representing strength and perseverance.
History
The 1986-S Proof Silver Eagle holds the distinction of being the most widely produced proof issue in the series, with approximately 1,446,778 coins struck. As the first year of the program, collectors showed strong interest in the new proof coin, leading to record-breaking sales. This level of demand has not been repeated in later years. Despite its higher mintage, the 1986-S remains an important addition for those completing proof collections.

Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
