Issued to honor the 100th anniversary of the last Morgan Dollar and the first Peace Dollar, these classic designs were revived by the US Mint after decades of absence. Since 2023, the Mint has continued releasing these silver dollars annually, offering collectors certified options with modern quality standards. Peace Silver Dollar Coins in certified condition are available now from BGASC.
Highlights:
Each Peace Silver Dollar Coin offered here has received a Mint State 69 grade. Coins at this level show full mint brilliance with only very minor imperfections. These may include tiny contact marks or light hairlines that are not found in key focal areas. Please note that the coins available may come from different years beginning in 2023, and slab labels may differ.
Obverse
The obverse of the Peace Dollar features Lady Liberty in a left-facing profile designed by Anthony de Francisci. She wears a radiant crown with sharp rays that symbolize hope and freedom. Modeled after de Franciscis wife, the design presents a softer and more modern interpretation of Liberty.
Reverse
On the reverse, the Peace Dollar depicts a bald eagle standing calmly while holding an olive branch. This peaceful imagery was chosen to symbolize the nations desire for peace following World War I and represents a shift away from earlier, more aggressive eagle designs.
History
The Peace Dollar was born from changes in US silver policy during the early 1900s. Under the Pittman Act of 1918, millions of Morgan Silver Dollars were melted to support wartime efforts and silver needs overseas. The act also required replacement coins to be struck using US-mined silver, leading to the return of silver dollar production in 1921. The Peace Dollar was introduced later that year to reflect a new era.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
BGASC is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
